About the Program Directors:

Mark and Laura Newell (USA) – Mark teaches Organizational Psychology at The Corvinus University of Budapest.  The focus of his research is on the development of teams and employability skills through Service-Learning.  Laura is a Speech and Language Pathologist and teacher of English as a foreign language.  Mark and Laura have lived in Budapest since 2005.

Robert and Debbie Thiessen (Canada) – Robert teaches Advanced English for Business and Specific Purposes at The Corvinus University of Budapest.  He has been a primary contributor to the development of textbooks in the language department.  Robert has also completed training with CoachU for personal and corporate coaching.  Debbie is a certified health and fitness coach and teacher of English as a foreign language.  She has been instrumental in the opening of several fitness centers in Budapest.  Robert and Debbie have lived in Budapest since 1989.
